The brand's DNA is fun, fresh and spontaneous without losing the seriousness of a production house. Playing with a bright color palette, organic shapes and the creation of a protagonist character, Retaguardia becomes a striking brand that reflects the creativity of the team behind the name. Referring to the word Retaguardia and through the dynamism in the wordmark, we seek to reflect the differentiating values and attributes: a studio that adapts and creates spontaneous visuals with a current vision, regardless of resources. The mascot is based on a combination between the R in retaguardia and a cloud of thought, a fusion between two ideas that reinforce the spirit of creation and spontaneity. Maclovio is a character who has his own life and personality, providing a relaxed and fun element to the studio's identity, as well as an unexpected detail in different brand applications.
